Megan Thibodeau, DVM, CVA, CVMMP

Dr. Thibodeau graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2015 and immediately began her journey in alternative medicine. She completed certifications at the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society (acupuncture), the Center for Integrative Veterinary Therapies (Chinese herbal medicine), and the Integrative Veterinary Medical Institute (spinal manipulation). Before opening her own practice in 2022, she worked in general practice integrating alternative modalities with conventional medicine.

Her passion for natural medicine stems from its simplicity. If a person does not feel well, they can be healed. Simply find what is out of balance and restore the natural order to the body. Once she realized she could help her sick pets who didn't have a distinct diagnosis or particular illness (at least in conventional terms), her enthusiasm grew and her patients flourished.

Acorn Animal Wellness is co-owned by her two collies and angry mob of five naughty shelties. When not working, she is usually found tending to her extensive begonia collection or feeding squirrels.
